Please take a moment to review the following booking terms before reserving your session. These terms are designed to make the experience clear, enjoyable, and respectful of everyone's time.
By completing your purchase and accepting these terms at checkout, you agree to the conditions outlined below.
1. Session Details
The Portrait Sessions
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 (tentative)
Investment: $800
Duration: 30 minutes
Includes 5 professionally retouched, high-resolution digital photographs
Suitable for individuals, couples, and maternity portraits
The Family Sessions
Date: Sunday, November 15, 2026 (tentative)
Investment: $1,100
Duration: 45 minutes
Includes 8 professionally retouched, high-resolution digital photographs
Suitable for families of up to 5 people
Both experiences take place in a professional photography studio within Los Angeles.
Studio details, arrival instructions, and appointment times will be communicated before the session.
2. Booking and Payment
Full payment is required at checkout to request and reserve one of the limited available sessions, subject to final confirmation of the date, location, and appointment time.
Your session is considered confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Katarina Benzova Photography.
Clients may indicate their preferred appointment time during checkout. While every effort will be made to accommodate preferences, specific times cannot be guaranteed until confirmed.
If the proposed date cannot be confirmed or no mutually agreeable appointment time is available, you may request a full refund.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Because these are limited sessions with a small number of available appointments, the following cancellation policy applies after your session has been confirmed:
7 or more days before your session: Full refund.
Between 72 hours and 7 days before your session: 50% refund.
Less than 72 hours before your session: No refund.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If another appointment is available, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request.
If Katarina Benzova Photography must cancel your session and cannot offer a mutually agreeable alternative, you will receive a full refund of the session fee.
Nothing in this agreement limits any refund or cancellation rights provided by applicable law.
4. Arrival and Session Timing
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time to settle in.
Sessions are scheduled consecutively, so punctuality is important.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid affecting other clients. The full session fee will still apply.
If a client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the session may be considered a missed appointment, depending on the remaining available time.
5. Artistic Style and Creative Direction
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are familiar with Katarina Benzova's photographic style and artistic approach.
Creative decisions regarding lighting, composition, posing, image selection, editing, and final presentation remain at the photographer's professional discretion.
While personal preferences are always welcome, specific poses, images, expressions, or results cannot be guaranteed.
The intention is to create natural, meaningful, and timeless photographs that reflect your personality and connection.
6. Image Selection and Delivery
Following your session, you will receive access to a private online proofing gallery.
The gallery will contain approximately:
The Portrait Sessions: 20 edited preview photographs
The Family Sessions: 25 to 30 edited preview photographs
These quantities are estimates and may vary based on the photographs successfully captured during the session.
Your proofing gallery will generally be available within 7 days of your session.
You may then select your included photographs for final professional retouching:
5 images for The Portrait Sessions
8 images for The Family Sessions
Final high-resolution digital photographs will generally be delivered within 7 days after your selections are received.
Delivery timelines may be extended in the event of unexpected circumstances, with communication provided if delays occur.
Unselected proof images are provided for viewing and selection only and are not licensed for download, reproduction, or public use unless purchased.
RAW files and unedited photographs are not included and will not be delivered.
7. Additional Photographs and Fine Art Prints
Additional professionally retouched digital photographs and fine art prints may be purchased separately.
Pricing and available options will be provided with your proofing gallery.
Any additional purchases are optional and are not required to receive the photographs included in your session.
Print production and shipping timelines will be communicated separately.
8. Copyright and Personal Use
All photographs created during the session remain the intellectual property of Katarina Benzova Photography, subject to applicable copyright law.
Your purchase includes a nonexclusive, perpetual license to use your delivered photographs for personal, noncommercial purposes, including:
Personal social media accounts
Personal websites and family announcements
Holiday cards and personal gifts
Personal printing and display
You are welcome to share your photographs online. Photographer credit is always appreciated.
Photographs may not be sold, licensed to third parties, entered into commercial advertising campaigns, or used for commercial promotion without prior written permission.
The photographer retains the right to use the photographs as permitted under applicable law and any separate written permissions obtained from the client.
9. Privacy and Portfolio Use
Your privacy and comfort are important.
Katarina Benzova Photography will not publicly publish identifiable photographs from your session for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, or promotional purposes without your separate permission.
This includes photographs featuring children.
You may choose to grant or decline permission for promotional use without affecting your booking, session experience, or included photographs.
Your private proofing gallery will be accessible through a private link or other access controls provided by the gallery service.
Reasonable care will be taken to protect your photographs and personal information, although no online system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children and Family Participation
For family sessions, a parent or legal guardian must be present and responsible for all participating children throughout the appointment.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that participating family members are comfortable and able to take part safely.
The photographer will make reasonable efforts to create a relaxed and welcoming environment, but specific expressions, cooperation from children, or particular group photographs cannot be guaranteed.
Any additional participants beyond the stated package limit must be approved in advance and may require an additional fee.
11. Illness, Emergencies, and Unforeseen Circumstances
If you or a participating family member becomes ill, please notify the photographer as soon as possible.
Rescheduling requests due to illness or emergencies will be considered individually, subject to availability.
If an unforeseen event prevents the photographer from providing the session, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange an alternative appointment. If no mutually agreeable alternative can be arranged, the session fee will be refunded in full.
If a technical failure, equipment malfunction, or other circumstance within the photographer's responsibility prevents delivery of the agreed photographs, the photographer will offer an appropriate remedy, such as a reshoot or refund, subject to applicable law.
12. Gallery Access and Image Storage
Clients are encouraged to download and securely back up their final photographs promptly after delivery.
Proofing galleries may be removed after 30 days from the date the gallery is delivered, with reasonable advance notice where practical.
Katarina Benzova Photography does not guarantee indefinite storage or archival availability of digital files after final delivery.
13. Agreement and Contact
By completing your booking and checking the agreement box at checkout, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
This agreement applies to the photography session selected and purchased.
Any changes to the agreed session details will be communicated in writing.
